CS: CASSI Experimental Benchmark now available.

David Brady and Ashwin Wagadarikar at the DISP lab at Duke University just released the experimental data associated with the Coded Aperture Snapshot Spectral Imager (CASSI). It's all here. From David Brady's blog, more information can be found in his new book, Optical Imaging and Spectroscopy, in particular:

....Coded aperture snapshot spectral imaging is discussed in section 10.6 of Optical Imaging and Spectroscopy and in several DISP publications. Code for 2D spatio-spectral slice estimation from simulated data is included in the chapter 10 figures....

This is outstanding. So let's see where we are right now:

I am sure some other groups will follow through as well. This is outstanding. Big kudos to all who made these data available.
